This chess set is designed to create a form family with both a futuristic and aerodynamic appearance.
The chess pieces are made of bent aluminum strips, of which the black pieces are anodized. The chess-board consists of a transparent plastic plate on top of a box in which a lamp is placed. The squares are alternately processed at the top and bottom of the board to create a subtle difference. The light of the lamp shines through the unprocessed lines between the squares for a futuristic look. |
